After a day of chocolate making, we'll sometimes wander across the street to Brewerks for a drink. One day we were having a pint with Ted from Kahiltna Birchworks, and Chad said "try this" as he gave us some malted barley he was using to brew a fresh batch of beer.

That's how flavor ideas are born.

Malted barley from Brewerks, birch syrup from Birchworks, which we freeze dry in-house, and our Hawai'i 62% dark chocolate.
